This is only the first half of this chapter, as the second half relies a lot on the plot of the other chapters to make total sense (and I was too tired to continue translating at 5 AM). Sorry about that! I may continue if people want me to, but I also don't want to step on the toes of any other translators!

1. I translated this as "ngh" because there isn't much else to go with, but he's just making a glottal noise (".....っ") without any real meaning.
